I guess you could say my start as an artist, and photographer, wasn’t a surprise. My father was a wedding photographer in his own right and I was exposed to dark rooms early on. I was also a wedding stationer for four years, both as an illustrator and calligrapher, before I realized my true vocations were tapping me on the shoulder for some time: painting and photography. It was then that my world snapped into focus, quite literally, and since then, I haven’t looked back.

My love of history, traveling, and observing people are where I derive most of my inspiration from. I’ve trotted around the majority of Europe and leave fulfilled every time, browsing for flights as soon as I board the return flight home. When I’m not out on the road, I’m running around snapping photos and drawing sketches at the Met, sketchbook and pencils in hand.
